Kincardine wind farm

Aberdeen, Scotland

The Kincardine floating offshore wind farm, located 9.32 miles off the coast of Aberdeen (Scotland), represents a benchmark in floating offshore wind technology. Developed for Statkraft, the facility comprises five 9.5 MW wind turbines installed on floating foundations in water depths ranging from 197 to 262 ft. At the time of commissioning, it was the world's largest floating offshore wind farm.

A wind farm located on the southern coast of the state of Oaxaca, with a generation capacity of 102 MW, comprising 51 Vestas V80 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW. Each wind turbine is capable of generating power in winds ranging from 4 to 25 m/s and is oriented using environmental sensors that indicate wind speed and direction to ensure optimal performance.

The Manchasol 1 solar thermal power plant, located in Ciudad Real, Spain, has an installed capacity of 49.9 MW and was one of the first concentrating solar power facilities to incorporate thermal storage capable of delivering electricity continuously for several hours.

Caitan Desalination Plant

Antofagasta, Chile

The desalination plant, located the Antofagasta Region, northern of Chile. It was built to supply water to the Spence Mine, one of the most important in the Copper production, through a 154 km pipeline and three intermediate pumping stations, that allow the water to be transported over a height difference of more than 2,000 m.
