The plant uses parabolic trough collector technology together with a molten salt thermal storage system, enabling thermal energy to be stored and electricity generation to continue for between 6 and 8 hours without direct solar radiation.

The solar field comprises 156 collector loops, incorporating a total of 7,488 parabolic trough collectors arranged across an area of 510,120 m², capturing solar energy for power generation.
