The Kincardine floating offshore wind farm, located 9.32 miles off the coast of Aberdeen (Scotland), represents a benchmark in floating offshore wind technology. Developed for Statkraft, the facility comprises five 9.5 MW wind turbines installed on floating foundations in water depths ranging from 197 to 262 ft.

At the time of commissioning, it was the world’s largest floating offshore wind farm.
