Adaptation and improvement WWRS Viveros de la Villa
Madrid, Spain
Wastewater treatment
Project type
151.200 m³/day
Daily capacity

The project focused on improving reclaimed water quality through advanced solids removal, disinfection and emerging contaminant reduction processes, enabling the treated effluent to meet a range of potential reuse requirements.
The facility incorporates advanced oxidation technologies and automated control systems designed to optimise operation and maintain high water quality standards.

The new facilities in the tertiary treatment of the Viveros de la Villa ERAR make it possible to guarantee an adequate elimination of solids, as well as having an advanced oxidation system for the removal of emerging contaminants and obtaining a disinfection of the treated effluent adaptable to the requirements of quality that the possible uses of the river may demand.
