Wastewater treatment

Project type

36.000 m³/day

Daily capacity

The Estiviel Wastewater Treatment Plant was designed to treat 36,000 m³ of wastewater per day, serving the equivalent of 270,000 people across the city of Toledo.

The facility treats most of the city's wastewater through an advanced biological process based on activated sludge technology and biological nutrient removal such as w Nitrogen and Phosphorus by biological means through the process called NIPHO plus.
