The Madrid–Levante High-Speed Rail Line. Requena–Siete Aguas Section, in the province of Valencia, involved the construction of 6.8 km of railway platform for a double-track standard-gauge line, designed for operating speeds of up to 350 km/h.

The project forms part of the Madrid–Levante high-speed corridor and includes a 14 m-wide railway platform, meeting the operational requirements of Spain’s high-speed rail network. ç
Key structures along the route include the Aguas Blancas Ravine Viaduct, measuring 76 m in length, and the Rambla del Papán Viaduct, with a total length of 246 m.




One of the most significant elements of the scheme is the La Rabosera Tunnel, constructed using the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM), with a length of 1,350 m and a cross-sectional area of 136 m². The section also includes a 243 m cut-and-cover tunnel and a 1,340 m Passing and Stabling Facility (PAET), designed to enhance the operational capacity and flexibility of the line.
