Access Channel for the Integration of High Speed in Valencia*

The project consists of the construction of a new railway access channel to integrate the High Speed in Valencia by burying the existing tracks. In addition, the Valencia Joaquín Sorolla station and its car park are being expanded and remodelled to adapt them to the new railway configuration.

AV Bobadilla-Granada. Arroyo Viñuela - Quejigares

Granada, Spain

The project involves the construction of a 3.09-mile high-speed rail platform forming part of the Bobadilla–Granada High-Speed Line, designed for double track and operating speeds of up to 186 mph. The alignment runs entirely within the municipality of Loja. The main feature of the section is the Quejigares Tunnel, which accounts for nearly 70% of the total project length. The tunnel comprises two parallel tubes, each accommodating a single track, with a clear cross-sectional area of 592 sq ft, excluding track and platforms. The tunnel runs beneath the A-92 motorway and has a length of 11,030 ft in the right-hand tube and 11,086 ft in the left-hand tube. The project also features three viaducts, including the Arroyo de la Viñuela Viaduct, a 1,129 ft structure made up of 10 spans, designed to cross the watercourse while ensuring geometric continuity and operational performance of the line.

AV Figueras-Perpignan

Girona, Spain

The project comprises the construction of an 11.7-mile high-speed railway platform forming part of the Figueras–Perpignan High-Speed Line, within the Madrid–Zaragoza–Barcelona–French Border corridor. This section is located immediately upstream of the Pertus tunnels, with a total length of 5.1 miles—also constructed by DRAGADOS—which cross the Pyrenees and enable the high-speed rail connection between Spain and France.

AV de California. Fresno-Bakersfield

The Fresno–Bakersfield section forms part of the California High-Speed Rail (CAHSR) program, one of the largest high-speed rail infrastructure initiatives worldwide. The program comprises approximately 745.65 miles of high-speed rail network, connecting California's main metropolitan areas, including Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area, the Central Valley, Los Angeles, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego.

AV Madrid-Levante. Requena-Siete Aguas

The Madrid–Levante High-Speed Rail Line. Requena–Siete Aguas Section, in the province of Valencia, involved the construction of 6.8 km of railway platform for a double-track standard-gauge line, designed for operating speeds of up to 350 km/h.

North-Northwest AV. Lalín-Santiago de Compostela

Galicia, Spain

The Ourense-Santiago line is part of the Corridor Railway North-Northwest High Speed Corridor, which will allow the connection of the Northwest with Central and Northern peninsular via the Madrid-Segovia-Valladolid high speed line. It connects in Santiago with the Atlantic corridor (Ferrol-A Coruña-Santiago-Pontevedra-Vigo- Portuguese border), also in construction. The completion of the work of improvement and electrification in the stretch of the Atlantic Corridor between Santiago and A Coruña, with a length of 62 km, favored the entry into service, the 10 of December 2011, of the new connection between Ourense and A Coruña, with 150 km of total length.

The project consists of the construction of a 6 mile segment of high-speed rail trackway civil infrastructure as part of the Madrid – Levante high speed rail system, with a double track and a speed of 135 mph.
