Designed by architect César Pelli, the Pelli Tower rises 180 m above the Seville skyline and is one of the city’s most recognisable contemporary landmarks.
Located on La Cartuja Island, the tower accommodates primarily office space across 37 floors, complemented by a restaurant and observation terrace at the upper levels. The development also includes a podium incorporating offices, business facilities, retail areas and public-use spaces.
The project integrates solutions focused on comfort and energy performance, including landscaped roofs that help regulate thermal inertia and a modular curtain wall façade equipped with a solar protection system adapted to each orientation.
From a construction perspective, the project featured the development of high-strength self-compacting concrete for the circular column bases, an innovation carried out by Dragados’.
