The Pyrenees Motorway (A-21) delivers more than 16 km of, strengthening a key transport corridor linking Pamplona, Jaca, Huesca and Lleida in northern Spain

The carried-out project developed by DRAGADOS includes the construction and maintenance (under a shadow toll) of two sections of dual carriageway with two lanes in each direction, one of 6.3 miles and 75 miles/h design speed and a second of 6.5 km and 62 miles/h design speed.

The layout of the highway was conditioned by the presence of several environmentally sensitive areas such as the Natural Reserve of the Foz de Lumbier, the LIC of Irati, Urrobi and Erro Rivers, and the LIC of Leyre and Orba Mountains.
