The conversion of the SG-20 Segovia Bypass into a dual carriageway involved the widening of 8.4 km of strategic road infrastructure, improving capacity and safety on one of the city’s main transport corridors.

The upgraded route bypasses the eastern side of Segovia and connects directly to the AP-61 and A-601, strengthening regional mobility through new high-capacity infrastructure.
DRAGADOS carried out, one trumpet-type and the other three with a roundabout at different levels.

A key feature of the project is the new viaduct over the Eresma River, constructed parallel to the existing structure using a double concrete arch solution. Due to the close proximity of both structures, construction required micro-blasting techniques and extensive vibration monitoring.
