The project involves the comprehensive renovation and expansion of the terminal building at Ibiza Airport, adapting the facility to a new functional layout and projected capacity requirements.

The works extend the terminal along the landside façade (+33 ft) and at its northeastern (+230 ft) and southwestern (+164 ft) ends. The project reorganizes access routes, passenger boarding bridges, lounges, and airport services to enhance operational efficiency and the passenger experience.

Key components of the project include the expansion of the departures lounge, new connections to the future parking structure, and the relocation of the Airport Operations Control Center(AOCC) to the roof level.

Core areas of the terminal are also being modernized, including the baggage reclaim hall, check-in area, arrivals concourse, passport control, airline offices, and retail spaces. These interventions improve comfort, accessibility, and rate of processing.

The project increases the terminal’s floor area by 183,000 sq. ft., reaching a total of 575,800 sq. ft. Construction is being executed in phases to ensure the airport remains fully operational throughout the duration of the works.
