The Port of Hayovel Expansion significantly increased port capacity through the construction of new maritime infrastructure, logistics areas and berthing facilities for large vessels.
The project included the extension of the existing breakwater by 1,150 m, protected using Antifer concrete armour units, together with the creation of a 50-hectare reclaimed port platform and the execution of 3.2 million m³ of dredging works.

The development also incorporated five new quays with a combined length of 1,700 m, delivered through several structural solutions including sheet pile walls, piled quays and caisson structures adapted to different operational requirements.
