The La Breña II Dam, located on the Guadiato River in Córdoba, has a reservoir capacity of 823 hm³ and is one of the largest hydraulic infrastructures developed in Spain.

The project involved the construction of a straight gravity dam built using roller-compacted concrete (RCC), designed to support water resource regulation within the river basin.

With 1.4 million m³ of RCC and a total concrete volume of 1.6 million m³, the structure became the largest RCC dam in Europe by construction volume
