The A-38 Motorway Sueca Bypass delivers 8.6 km of new alignment, providing a faster, safer and more efficient alternative for medium and long-distance traffic previously travelling along the N-332 corridor.

The infrastructure runs through the Júcar River floodplain, a project challenge that decisively influenced the corridor's design and required the integration of numerous structures and drainage systems to ensure its hydraulic performance.
The viaduct over the Júcar River is particularly noteworthy: a 90-meter-span metal arch, built on one bank of the riverbed and moved to its final location using mobile carriages.

The project, carried out by DRAGADOS, incorporated specific environmental protection measures, including soil and wildlife protection, noise barriers, archaeological excavations, landscaping, and landscape integration. Work carried out at the l’Alculiola archaeological site influenced part of the construction in the area connecting with the N-332.
